(Marrubium Vulgare) 75 days. Perennial. Extensive use throughout history as a medicinal herb. Egyptian priests referred to horehound as the "Seed of Horus." Foliage grows 18-24" with toothed silver-green leaves. Stems are covered with small hairs and grow small white flowers. Perfect herb for tea, tinctures, botanical candy, and syrup.
TO GROW: Start indoors or sow directly 2-3 weeks before last frost. Sow lightly, barely covering the seeds and keep evenly moist until germination. Plants thrive in full sun and well-drained, nutrient deficient dry soil. Allow plants to dry out between watering.
